Somebody at work mentioned this and defined it as small signal gain in the presence of a large signal carrier.

But I can't find mention of an OPUS Plot in any of my RF text books and internet searches come up blank. Maybe I'm spelling it wrong?

Has anyone heard of an OPUS Plot? And does anyone know the origin of the name OPUS?
