Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.
Post subject: Need Suggestion of 6GHz voltage variable attenuator IC. Posted: Tue Jul 19, 2005 7:35 pm
Can anybody give suggestions of 5.8GHz VVA? It seems only hittite has VVA at this frequency range. Skyworks, RFMD and M/A COM don't have it.

Hittite is the only game in town as far as I know. It seems like companies like RFMD, MaCom, and Skyworks put all their apples in one bag (cell phones) ignoring all the periphery markets. I like Hittie because they are constantly coming out with new products and they have actually developed a product for a market segment that I am in.
