Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.

When I do Transient
simulate using the ADS, it always said that the iternal timestep ***
to small at time ***, and I can't find the answer from the help files

If I'm not mistaken, ADS' transient simulation
uses adaptive time steps - if a change of any variable is too big from
one instant to another, or if a circuit fails to converge (that is,
the voltages and currents can't be made to be consistent), then it shrinks
the time step and tries again.
Circuits with high Q can cause
problems with transient simulations - if you accidentally have a high-Q
resonance, that could be your problem. On the other hand, if you intentionally
have a high-Q resonance, then you'd best be prepared to do a lot of

circuit I use a delay unit to delay the signal, is it the problem?
If the Q value is too high, can I reduce it? Or other methods, can you
tell me how I to do?
