Flicker noise corner frequency calculation/simulation - RF Cafe Forums

Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. I am trying to determine the flicker noise corner frequency for the BFR182 transistor.

Does anyone know the answer or perhaps can you direct me to literature that will teach me how to simulate it?

Hi Darcy,

The flicker noise (also named 1/f noise or Pink Noise), is determined by internal characteristics of the transistor and is calculated by the simulator based on a SPICE model of the transistor.
