Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if

intend to use Evaluation board ADF4360-7(from ANALOG) as a LO for a RF system. Does anyone has experience of using

ya its easy to use. Need to pick the external inductor value in order to set the centre frequency. Their
software (Simpll i think its called??) helps you to do this.

Can I use only the bundled software to set the center frequency. I don't want
to re-solder another inductor on it. Guest, it is only one way to assign the center freqency.

it comes with
inductors already soldered for a particular centre frequency. if you want another frequency you need to replace
