Copper wire resistance - RF Cafe Forums

Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if you would like to post something on RF Cafe's Facebook page, please do.

We are working on a new electronic sensor device which requires the
periodic measurement of a 28AWG kynar insulated copper wire loop
(ten feet long) under varying ambient temperatures.

Since the electrical resisitivity of copper increases linearly with the
ambient temperature, we know the following facts about copper
wire at a temperature of 20C:

10.09 (ohm-cmil/ft) 1.678 (micro-ohm-cm)

Our problem is that we need to know the electrical resisitivity of copper
wire at each degree reading between -20C and +70C ( in addition to
the electrical resisitivity we know that copper has at 20C).

If anyone has a suggestion or reference for further information, please
advise as soon as possible.
