satelllite earth station - RF Cafe Forums
Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. HI Im a base jumper. who wants to know more about am antennas. There is a satellite earth station nearby that has a huge dish and also a 600ft square transmitter tower next to it. the tower is painted white and red and has a platform at the top with a few circular drums on top. i need to know if it definately is an am antenna and if so, what the safest way of climbing it is. any advise would be much appreciated!
