Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
Facebook page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

i'm trying to design a lumped element balun frequency of interest- 100Hz to 40MHz.
I'm trying to synthesis a balun using Genesys tool. Haven't succeeded in it.
jus have a crzy thought :
if incase i design three baluns in the following bands a. 100Hz to 1MHz b. 1MHz to 10MHz c. 10MHz to 40MHz.
Is there anyway that i can combine these three circuits to realise a balun for the whole frequency range 100Hz to 40MHz.
Is there anyother better way to approach this design issue.
Any valuable suggestions are welcome. thanks
balaji

| | The freeware program "AppCAD" contains a calculator for lumped element baluns. Or why don't you buy a balun for 2 $ at www.minicircuits.com ?
