RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. hi, im an Electronics and Communications engineering student.. I need to find an antenna project to be done. I already find in the Internet but i cant find a simple one(w/ procedure, descriptions and computation). Is there any site for my project? Thanks a Lot!!

Most YAGI recipes have been refined for years, with extensive use of computers to search out the best gain and front-toback ratios. If you want to build one, there is LOTs of info.

I know this may just be a cultural thing for me, but I am ignorant about the term "uda" . Does this mean I have maybe completely missed the point?

Hi Graham, the proper name for a Yagi antenna is a Yagi-Uda antenna - it was developed as a collaboration between Hidetsugu Yagi and Shintaro Uda.
