I really don't think that Hans Schantz suggested
to model both antennas and the separation in HFSS
for instance. Why don't you simply calculate S21
of the receiver antenna, S12 of the TX antenna and
calculate the received voltage that way?[/quote]
Yes , MR. Hans Schantz has suggested
me do calculate s21 of the receiver antenna ,which
is the same as you said .
Now i have a question
, how to get the s21 easily ?
should i make
a single antenna model can calculate its s parameter
and then use antenna array setting in HFSS and get
the S21 ? or other ways .
can you tell me what
you do ?
thanks you very much.
I am not sure which simulation package you are
most familiar with. S21 is related to the antenna
gain and most simulators are able to determine the
antenna gain (and yes, best to setup a single antenna
model). I am not familiar with the array setting
in HFSS but you are not trying to setup an antenna
