UWB antenna measurement and the patent issue - RF Cafe Forums
Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. Dear all,

Could anyone introduce some materials about the measurement setup of the antenna? Moreover, what is the measurement parameters do we need to do for the antenna measurement?

On the other hand, my supervisor asked me to determine what things could apply for the antenna design patent. Actually, we will ask someone help us to design the UWB antenna. We are afraid that the design is already patent. Therefore, I need to find out whether the design is already patent or not. Could anyone tell me how could I search the design is patent or not? Besides, what things could they use to patent it? such as the size, the material usage could use for patent?
