Seeking a Moderator for the Antennas Forum - RF Cafe Forums
Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views. It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if you would like to post something on RF Cafe's Facebook page, please do.

Below are all of the forum threads, including all the responses to the original posts.

Greetings:

If you have watched the “RF Cafe Website Intro” video introducing myself and RF Cafe, then you know that I am seeking people with an interest in being moderators for the various Forum areas here on RF Cafe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLpwW5wDYrE

The role of a Moderator is to facilitate the interaction between visitors posting and visitors responding to issues, not to personally address every posting on every thread. Having some expertise in the particular Forum category (Antennas, Software, etc.) would be helpful, but you do not need to be at the sage level of knowledge to qualify. Moderators have the authority to edit, deleted, and/or move postings.

As you can see in the Circuits Forum and Test & Measurements Forum, our two Moderators decide what posts need their attention and respond accordingly. I do not give any direction regarding how they fulfill their positions, and both have performed magnificently. We all owe a debt of gratitude to them for their efforts.

If you would like to be the Moderator for this or any other available Forums on RF Cafe, please send me an e-mail. Thank you.
