Patch Antenna on ball grid array (BGA) - RF Cafe Forums

Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. I am designing Patch antenna on ball grid array in IE3D.

Lets change information.

You certainly can simulate a patch on BGA on IE3D. In fact, the IE3D 11 implemented the AGIF which can convert GDSII files, Cadence Virtuoso files, and Cadence Allegro and APD files into IE3D geometry ready for simulation. BGA can be automatically built from geometry from other layouts. Please check for it. Regards.
