AM and FM Antenna for my Bose Wave Music System - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. New here, I'm really glad I found this site. You guys seem to really know what your talking about. I need some help.

I'm considering purchasing the "Terk AM Advantage" for my Bose. Does anyone have any other recommendations or is the one gonna do the job? It's a bit pricy for 3 feet of wire and some plastic but I just wanna hear the DC and Baltimore stations. I live smack in the middle of the two and have trouble receiving anything.

While I'm at it I was also considering purchasing the "FM Edge" from Terk. Is this a smart move or should I just be happy with what I get?

when you find an antenna...let me know...apparently not available on Bose home site. Just need a 75ohm wire with 1/8" miniplug.
