Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. Anyone knows what is the gain for 6 elements UHF Yagi Uda ?
Someone please help me....I want to know the gain for calculate a Friis Transmission equation...?

A simple dipole gain over the isotrope 1.64=2.14dBi
a dipole with reflector 1.64x2=5.15dbi
a 3 elem. 1.64x3=6.9dBi
.........
a 6 elem 1.64x6=9.92dBi

6 element yagi is generally around 8db gain and a 7 element goes to 10db!!
