"Giving Back" - RF Cafe Forums
Because of the high maintenance needed to monitor and filter spammers from the RF Cafe Forums, I decided that it would
be best to just archive the pages to make all the good information posted in the past available for review. It is unfortunate
that the scumbags of the world ruin an otherwise useful venue for people wanting to exchanged useful ideas and views.
It seems that the more formal social media like Facebook pretty much dominate this kind of venue anymore anyway, so if
you would like to post something on RF Cafe's
page, please do.
Below are all of the forum threads, including all
the responses to the original posts.

I don't know if this is the right forum or if I should put this in the Gripes area,
but here goes.
I'm sick of the "giving back" stuff that is always used for doing
volunteer work. Man, I have a full 1/4 of my paycheck siphoned off for taxes. Then I
pay 7% sales tax on everything I buy. Property tax on my house is $2000 every year.
Then there's all the other taxes and fees.
The way I see it, an awful lot is
being taken from me under the threat of prison time if I choose not to comply. A lot
of the money is being handed out to people who do absolutely nothing to deserve it.
It is they who should be giving back - not me.
Why should someone who works
his hiney off his whole life and is successful "give back?" He's been giving back his
whole life. Let the fat lazy welfare bums (men and women) show some appreciation for
a change. When is the last time you saw a group of welfare recipients go out and clean
up an area or volunteer at a Habitat for Humanity house building project?
me a break man!
