Visio Circuit Schematic Symbols from the 2008 ARRL Handbook

NOTE: These are the old ARRL Handbook symbols.

Please visit the v3 page for updated product and ordering info.

As a service to the many Amateur Radio Operators in the RF Cafe visitor realm, I spent many hours re-creating the set of circuit schematic symbols that are presented in the front of the 2008 ARRL Handbook. They were built on the Visio grid to accuracy and scalability. I did not load them into a standard Visio stencil format because it is probably easier to just open the page (VSD file) and copy/paste onto your schematic. That way everything is in plain sight, rather than being buried in a long list of icons.

The Visio file is now included as part of the RF Component Stencils for Visio™ set.

Please note that this is NOT Shareware or Freeware, and once
purchased, must not be distributed by any means.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The Internet was still largely an unknown entity at the time and not much was available in the form of WYSIWYG ...
